Winter brings approximately 60 km of groomed cross-country trails, while Gautefall Ski Centre offers one of Telemark's largest and most modern alpine facilities, with 10 runs, 1 Express 6-seater chairlift, 1 ski lift and 2 conveyor lifts, in addition to a terrain park, evening skiing, dining options, ski rental, ski school and après-ski. The summer season tempts with miles of marked hiking trails through forest and countryside, with access to rest areas and shelters, as well as more than 100 fishing lakes, 100 km of marked cycling trails, and several opportunities for swimming and rock climbing. At Gautefall you also have the unique opportunity to use a state-of-the-art 4.5 km asphalted, year-round biathlon facility with floodlighting – one of the few facilities of its kind in Telemark.
