Haukåtjern Cabin Field is idyllically located near beautiful Selbusjøen in Selbu. The area is known for its reliable snow conditions in winter, with stable snow typically lasting until May. Plans are underway to connect the cabin field to the cross-country trails that are part of the fantastic trail network at Selbuskogen Ski Centre. This means you can strap on your skis right outside your cabin door and enjoy both short and long ski trips through varied terrain. There are also excellent snowmobile trails in the area.

In summer, you can spend lazy days on the beach at Selbusjøen, hike in the mountains, or cycle along the many marked trails. For fishing enthusiasts, there are several fishing lakes within walking distance of the cabin, and the area also offers good hunting opportunities. At Fuglem by Selbusjøen you'll find a well-equipped activity area with a volleyball court, ball court and swimming beach.
