Hestehaugane sits right in the middle of a true ski touring paradise, with well-known peaks such as 1609, Hyttebotn and Hestebottfjellet just a stone's throw away.
Right outside your cabin door, endless possibilities await — whether you dream of mountain hikes, open plateaus, or simply peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.

Hemsedal offers fantastic cross-country skiing opportunities in the forest, the valley floor and the high mountains. In total there are 250 km of trails, classic tracks, skating trails and marked high-mountain routes. The cross-country route Bjøberg - Bulien - Tuv - Trøim (Hemsedal centre) starts right outside your own cabin door. It follows freshly groomed trails south-eastward along the old King's Road. You glide down the slopes to Bulien and continue on to Tuv or Trøim as you wish. Why not bring along lunch, a thermos and a chocolate bar to fully enjoy the sun and scenery at Bulien.

Well-known peaks such as 1609, Hyttebotn and Hestebottfjellet are your closest neighbours, and cross-country trails start right at your cabin door, following the historic King's Road towards Bulien and onward to Tuv or Hemsedal centre.
