Hurdalslia faces west with panoramic views over Lake Hurdalsjøen and sunshine late into the evening during the summer months. Hurdalslia is located in northern Akershus, with short distances to everything you need. Just 50 minutes to Oslo, 25 minutes to Gardermoen and 10 minutes to Hurdal Ski Centre.

You won't struggle to find activities in the area. Relax at the cabin and enjoy cycling, canoeing, swimming, picking mushrooms and berries, and lovely walks in forest and countryside; perhaps a trip up Brenntoppen above Hurdalslia sounds tempting? Or if you enjoy hunting and fishing, you'll find several excellent hunting grounds and fishing waters nearby.

In winter, the hiking and cycling trails transform into kilometres of ski tracks. The trails are groomed for both skating and classic cross-country skiing, running through spruce forest in gently rolling, varied terrain. Strap on your cross-country skis and head straight out onto the trails from the cabin area, and visit Vingerdalsstua, run by Hurdal IL's cross-country ski team. There they serve warm squash, tea, coffee, waffles and other treats on Sundays in January, February and March.

If you fancy some downhill skiing, Hurdal Ski Centre is just a short drive away. This is a varied alpine facility with several enjoyable runs.
