Put on your cross-country skis right at the cabin door, and the entire network of groomed and marked trails awaits. The trails connect you further to the wonderful and varied trail network of Kikut. The trails suit everyone, from short strolls around Kikut to longer trips to, among others, Ruperanden, Tuva or Ustaoset.

A short drive away you'll find Geilo Fjellandsby and the Kikut ski lifts. Great emphasis has been placed on families here, and from here you can also reach the rest of Geilo's excellent lift network. A visit to Kikutkroa is also recommended. It's a popular eatery with a tempting lunch menu. There are also other services such as ski rental and a ski shop with everything you need for a fantastic day on the trails. With Kikut Sør and Geilo Fjellandsby as your base, you have a prime starting point for cross-country skiing, with trails suited to both casual walkers and those with more speed on their skis.

In summer and autumn, nature is ready for wonderful hikes, with fantastic views surrounding you wherever you go. Try your luck at fishing or dip your toes in the charming mountain lakes the area has to offer. A spectacular hike up the stone-laid Prestholtrappen is a great experience. From there, you can continue on to the majestic Hallingskarvet.
